Tatev Monastery Complex

Tatev Monastery is a historical monument of the 9th century, an exceptional example of Armenian architecture, one of the ancient spiritual centers, as well as the largest university of medieval Armenia.

 

The preserved ancient structure of the Tatev complex is the Poghos-Petros temple, which was founded in 895.
